This blog is for everyone that works with rangelands and is concerned with their sustainable use. Rangelands comprise almost one-half of all the lands in the world. They are extremely important to society for the goods and services they produce and for the ecological services they provide. Those of use who work with rangelands everyday know the intrinsic value of healthy sustainable rangelands. This site is meant to be a forum were everyone concerned with rangelands, and range management can share their thoughts and ideas, ask questions, and possibly learn something new.
This site has 3 main sections
1 – “Over the pickup-hood” - A discussion forum were we can all share ideas, comments, or concerns about rangelands and range management issues.
2- “Ask an Expert” – Have a burning question? Let us know what it is and we will find you an answer by contacting an expert in the field. We will get you an answer and provide contact information for the appropriate expert.
3- Field-Day in your office – Audio/Visual files of interviews, seminars, field day presentations that you can listen/view from the comfort of your office chair whenever you get the time.
